nearhire

For recruitment agencies

Sourcing capacity for
your agency.

A named researcher in Johannesburg works your live roles, with an AI screening layer that hands you a ranked, checked shortlist each morning. You keep the client relationship and the fee.

Not a placement fee model, not labour hire. A flat monthly rate per researcher, cancel anytime.

Portrait of a woman at her desk

What lands on your desk
each morning.

The researcher doesn't hand you a pile of CVs. The AI screening layer does the first three or four hours of work before you open the file.

Parsed, not re-typed

Every CV parsed into a structured profile: skills, experience, qualifications, salary expectation. No re-reading PDFs to find the basics.

Scored against the brief

A scorecard against the actual role brief, not a generic template, so you can see why a candidate is ranked where they are.

Already ranked

A ranked shortlist ordered by fit score, with the weak matches already filtered out before they reach you.

Stage-funnel status

Status on every candidate in the pipeline, so you know what's moved and what's stalled without asking.

Flagged inconsistencies

Gaps, mismatched claims and contradictory dates flagged on the candidate's story, so you're not the one catching it at interview.

First-pass screening grade

For roles where it's set up, a first-pass video or WhatsApp screening grade, so you decide who's worth a live interview before you book one.

Three ways to
run it.

Pick the overlap that matches how you actually work. We don't sell "same hours"; the overlap shown below is the real number for each package.

Shared research desk

Per agency, per month$1,190

One researcher split across three agencies, working async. You send a brief, the researcher works it during South African business hours, and you get a written handoff each morning.

No live overlap window on this package. It suits steady sourcing work that doesn't need same-day back and forth.

Dedicated, split shift

Per month$3,550

One researcher working 06:00 to 14:00 South African time. That is 14:00 to 22:00 in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane the same day, and 16:00 to 00:00 in Auckland and Wellington.

A live afternoon-into-evening overlap to brief, redirect and review candidates in real time.

Dedicated, full day

Per month$3,650

One researcher working 01:00 to 09:00 South African time, genuine night shift on our side. That lines up to a full 09:00 to 17:00 day in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, and 11:00 to 19:00 in Auckland and Wellington.

Someone working your desk for your whole day, not a window either side of it.

Prices are indicative and in Australian dollars, confirmed on the call.

1researcher on one live role to start. No contract to sign first, cancel anytime.
2 wksTwo-week trial on a real requisition, so you see handoff quality before you commit a monthly spend.
3-4hof sourcing and first-pass screening the researcher and the AI layer take off your desk each morning.
Youkeep the client relationship and the placement fee. This is not a placement fee model.

Two-week
trial.

One researcher, one live role, no contract, cancel anytime.

How it runs

  1. Send one open requisition you'd put in front of a trial researcher this week
  2. We confirm the shift option and brief the researcher against it
  3. A first candidate handoff back to you within the first few working days
  4. Two weeks on that one role, then you decide

What's different about the trial

No contract to sign before you start, and you can cancel anytime during or after the two weeks with no further obligation. The point is to see the handoff quality on one real role before you commit a monthly spend.

Who it's for

Australian and New Zealand recruitment agencies, typically under 20 staff, spending too many consultant hours on sourcing, long-listing and first-pass screening instead of client work and closing. If you're turning down roles because you don't have capacity to source them properly, this is built for that gap.

What agency
owners ask.

Who employs the researcher?

nearhire employs the researcher in Johannesburg. You pay one flat monthly rate, with no payroll, leave or super to run. You keep the client relationship and the placement fee; this is not a placement fee model and not labour hire.

What systems do they work in?

Your ATS and job boards, through your own logins with role-based access. Nothing is downloaded to a local machine and you can revoke access at any time.

How does the AI screening work with our ATS?

The researcher sources and shortlists inside your ATS as normal. The screening layer sits alongside it: every CV is parsed into a structured profile, scored against the actual role brief, and flagged for gaps or inconsistencies before it reaches you. You see a ranked list in the system you already use, not a separate tool to learn.

Do you work with New Zealand agencies?

Yes. The dedicated split shift option lines up with Auckland and Wellington afternoons as well as Sydney and Brisbane; see the overlap hours on each package above.

How is data and candidate privacy handled?

The researcher works through your practice logins only, under the access controls you set. We handle personal information under South Africa's POPIA and expect agencies to run their own obligations under the Australian Privacy Act; nothing is copied outside your systems.

How fast can we start?

The two-week trial starts on one live requisition you send us. We confirm the shift option, brief the researcher, and aim for a first candidate handoff within the first few working days.
